On Sunday May 30, 2010, the Bunkerhill Post 26 was renamed, in memory on James W. Conway to the J. W. Conway Bunkerhill Post 26 the servive was held Saint Francis de Sales church at 11:00 am. James Conway was a Veteran of the Korean War in the US Marine Corps. here was a Member of National Historian A.L., Past Commander of Bunker Hill Post #26, Past Deputy Commander Dept. of Mass. A.L., Chairman of Mass A.L. Oratorical Committee, Chairman of Board of Trustees of Chelsea Soldiers Home, Member of Charlestown Neighboorhood Council, Past President of Old Charlestown Schoolboys Assoc. Past President of Bunker Hill Monument Assoc. Past President of Bunker Hill Monument Assoc., Past President of Charlestown Historical Society, Former Chairman and Past Chief Marshall of Bunker Hill Day Parade Committee, and Member of Bunker Hill Council #62 K of C and DAV, Chapter #22.
